What discounts are currently being offered on SL600 and SL65 models??

If you are a USAA member, or know someone who is, there was an EAB program that I believe is still going on that offered $1000 cash direct from Mercedes on 2009 SLs. A lot of dealers may not be aware of this or offer it up front (don't ask me why since it's kinda free money for them).
If you're eligible for this deal through a military affiliation, or through family, etc., it's the kind of thing you keep in your back pocket until you've brokered the best deal, then you say "By the way, I have this EAB thing from USAA...".
If you are a member, log into USAA.com & search on "Car Buying Service". USAA's car buying service pricing is only available at certain dealers, but the EAB is separate and should be applicable at any dealer as long as you can substantiate your eligibility. All you should need to do is print out the EAB form with a valid control number filled in.
BTW, the EAB applies to many models ($5,000 off a 2009 E550/63, for example), so if you're eligible you should check it out.
