SL/R230: Room for Full-Sized Spare Tire
Any chance a full-sized tire, on an extra (matching) rim, can fit in the trunk, assuming the hard top will not be lowered?
If not, how about the tire only (which could be swapped with the damaged tire)?
I guess I shouldn't fret, too much, for Porsche only provides a spray can of "fix-a-flat" with it's Cayman.
I realize services are far more readily available these days, but I prefer to be fully prepared and can change a flat in 10 - 15 minutes and not be detained for hours (which can mean alot on a long trip).

if u cary a tire, still need a tow to a shop to swap it out..plus if yr in middle of nowhere probably have to order it in! kep good tires on, and fingers crossed w/ a AAA card in yr wallet on trips.

i had to drive back from Vegas on the 55MPH spare and it was rough (7.5 hours) but I spent 2 days over Thanksgiving weekend trying to find a replacement tire (305 X 20), or rim & tire, or anything that I could use.
nothing beats a full spare.

you can't fit a full size anything within the cubby whole they give you for the magic spare they include, but you can fit a full size in the trunk.
i had to squeeze my rear (20X10.5) in there, it did require deflating and did quite a number on the carpet. but it did fit.
