SL/R230: New key from old car...can it program?

2005 SL500, 2007 C230
New key from old car...can it program?
Hey guys,

i have a 2005 SL500, with only 1 key from old owner(has keyless go aswell)


I have a new style key from a 2009 SL550 that i received for free off a friend that nolonger owns it. (car also had keyless go)


from anyones experience can the 09 key be programmed to the car via dealership?

2006 SL500
Someone else may have a different answer, but I would say definitely not going to work.

You can always just call your SA at the local dealer and ask to be sure though.
