2011 vs 2009 R230 Differences
Haven't been able to get my hands on a brochure for the 2011's in spite of the fact that the dealer has several of them. Other than changed interior/exterior colors, what are the differences? Dealer had said earlier that 2011 was a "refresh".

Changes...
Radio now has HD radio, traffic reports. MBrace is now installed instead of tele SOS/AID. Different interior colors and stiching, one new exterior color (some sort of metallic quartz blue). New rim center, new keys (same shape, slightly different buttons).

The other change is the two raised bumps on the hood. They both run the length of the car. Not sure why they added them. The prices stayed relatively the same. I think the dealer mentioned the side mirrors were slightly different as well, possibly LED's but again, I'm not sure. Just remember, there are still tons of 09's out there for $75-85k with miles under 10k.

I have an 09 and went for service and saw the 2011.
The bumps on the hood are have been there since 09 and the mirrors have been LED since 09. What I mentioned were the only changes. Prices went up by 4- 6000 dollars on the base model.
I bought my SL 550 Silver Arrow Edition for about 85-89000 with 12 miles on it in october 09.
