Too late, I'm addicted and I was getting around 8 mpg for a while....I have gotten a bit more comfortable and responsible though. Gas prices on the rise can sure kill a mercedes v12's fun

My question is how could you not let the V12 demon inside of you? If it makes you feel any better my Z has tire monitor issues about once a year it seems.

As far as you TPMS "inoperable" you most likely need at least one sensor replaced as the "older" type have a battery life of 6-7 years and the newer type about 10 years. Try here for some good prices: http://www.tpmswholesalers.com/Sensors.Aspx
Any tire shop should be able to install them for minimum labor costs. Just rest the control panel after installation.

sounds like frequency in MHz for communication (like for RF remotes)

It's most likely the 315Hz as those are installed on vehicles shipped to the US. If you give them your VIN at the time of ordering they should be able to get you the right ones.

well that's good to hear. I am going to be calling the merc dealer in my autogroup and try to set up some time for them to look the car over to see what all needs repaired for the warranty I'm getting, and if that is mostly a clean bill of health, I plan to get new sensors installed with amgfan's old ccw's, if he will ever pm me back
