SL/R230: Sl500 seat control computer bug?
If you open the passanger door, move the seat forward with the button on the top of the seat and wait for the interior lights to go off, the seat will no longer move back using the button on the top of the seat. The only way to move it back is with the seat adjust switch on the door.
After you do this the seat moves back and forth properly with the upper seat switch. Infact you only have to move it back a bit and the upper seat switch begins to work. Very strange since the upper seat switch works properly if the interior lights do not go off. Sound like it may be related to the seat control computer.
No issues with the driver side seat.
Has any one ever seen this problem?
Also, the passanger seat headrest is very slow going down, like something is creating friction, any fixes?
