Choices of Modifications for 2003 SL500
I have been interested in souping up my new 03 Sl500. So far I know of Renntech, which offered me either a low boost supercharger system, 5.5L conversion with supercharger, and a 380HP 5.5L naturally aspirated option.
Have any of you considered or completed any project similar to this. I am interesed in researching more on Kleeman, OberKlasse and others. If any of you guys had experienced this or have researched the options, please let me know.
Are the low boost supercharger systems offered by renntech and kleeman very reliable as they say? Also what about just the 5.5L conversion. Just a bit confused which way to go.

very good question. I am interested also.
I would like to add: exhaust, headers, air intake, and computer chip. The modification are so expensive though - that sucks.
A SC can run all the way up to $16K - I can get a good honda for this price
