Extended Warranty
I've searched the forum and not been able to find a good answer for who people are using for extended warranties now that chrylser won't write SL's anymore. I'd like to find one i know will cover the suspension on these cars.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

I have the Fidelity Platinum warranty, and it's been great so far. I do believe the suspension parts are covered on their Platinum level contract.

Contact your states AAA chapter. They broker for The Warranty Group. They offer 3 levels of service. The best option is an exclusionary warranty. If the car has more than 50K miles you can generally get an exemption if there is a documented service history. I have the Platinum level and all claims have been approved.

I'll add my two cents, again, for the MB extended warranty which covers everything like the new car warranty. I got mine out of an AZ dealer which, per AZ law, precludes MB from deducting any warranty expenses paid out during the term should you decide to terminate it early. Also, MB doesn't charge sales tax on it. Not every state can claim both of those advantages.

RE: Warranty
I recently helped an acquaintance with getting an SL55 warranty, where the factory warranty had expired shortly before he bought the car.
MB would not do anything, Fidelity has apparently stopped issuing AMG policies, at least in North Carolina, but Easy Care did issue him a policy which covers pretty much everything, after they came out and inspected his car. Not sure what he paid, but it covers pretty much everything. Fidelity may issue policies in other states, don't know the details. I believe RPM Motors, a sponsor, also can get warrantees, I'd try contacting them.
Best of luck, let us know what you end up with.

I have Fidelity Platinum also. I have put in 2 claims and both were paid with no problem. One was the for the brake computer $2500 and the second was for the navigation system $4000.
