its a 2006 sl500, I get a "close truck partition"warning on the display I have checked the micro switch on the passenger side partition latch and its fine. I have also put a shim in there to ensure that it is actuated but to no avail. I have also checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine. what and I missing here. I would appreciate any help you gentlemen could provide

i would try and bridge the switch as it might be faulty....

Thanks for the response SPIKES, Ya I have tried that but it still hasn't worked. Man this is frustrating.

i had an issue with my trunk not closing and eventually disconnected the battery as last resort...fixed it.

I tried the disconnect battery technique for about 12hrs I disconnected both the one under the hood and the one in the truck and I reconnected them and it still dose not work. any other ideas?? Thank you again Spikes for the advice
