I just bought a 2004 SL55 (had 2003 SL500 few years ago). I noticed my ABC sport LED doesn't light up (not the button that raises/lowers car but the one that changes suspension). However, no warning lights are on. When you press the ABC sport button, does it say anything in your instrument cluster or it is just the red dot? Nothing is coming on when I press that button in the instrument cluster, either....but I heard earlier year SL's may not have had this option.....that the later years SL are the ones that would show in the dash when you engaged/disengaged ABC Sport.

on my 04SL only the red light on the button comes on.

My 2003 SL55 behaves the same way.

I have a 2004 SL500, and a message appears briefly in the multifunction display - "ABC SPORT or COMFORT" when changing. (p. 219 in owner's manual)
