Fault Code 0894 - Transmission Slip
the ugly T word: Transmission
never had an issue in my 2 previous SL's.
27K miles on the 2007 SL550 and i get the 0894 Tranny slip code.....anyone have any experience with this. Basically medium to hard acceleration resulted in a double down effect in the lower gears
Dealer waiting on MB to relay how to fix and proceed...meanwhile driving the new C300 is like pushing a wet sponge around a countertop.

it took 2 days for MB to respond to dealer techs to tell them to take off tranny pan and hunt for silver (ie metal).
it took 2 hours to get the answer that yes there is metal in pan
will now await MB mothership direction on whether to repair or replace after they take out tranny
BTW....2011 C300 rental is severely underpowered...feels like it has a governor on it at 60mph

A lovely photo of the 722.9 Transmission
If you'll notice the set of gears still in the rod to the left... you'll be able to see a shinier gouge towards the top of the inside circumference of the part.
The dealership is request full transmission replacement. Waiting for MB to approve.
