TPMS Inoperative & currently unavailable

I have a 2008 SL55 with new 20" wheels. The MB dealer installed new TPMS sensors in all four wheels. Drove the car a couple of weeks and now after driving the car about 8 or 9 miles, I get a mix of warnings that stay on all day. Sometimes it will say "Tire Pressure Monitor Inoperative" and sometimes it says "Tire Pressure Monitor Currently Unavailable." All the tire pressures are fine (I keep checking) and are brand new Mercedes units and I can't reset the system. The next day (or after sitting for several hours), all will be fine until about 10 minutes into the next time I drive the car.

Any ideas?

The TPMS problem could be caused by several issues. Best bet is to take it back to the dealer for a diagnosis and fix. MB dealer repairs/parts are covered for 12 months by MB.
