My dad is going to trade in his cl 600 for a sl500 with amg or not (preferably with amg), what are the key things i should check out, what are the commen failures and with a 23,000 budget what condidtion should be avaiable? Buy an 04 and an extended warranty. These models cost a lot of money to keep them running. My 04 vario top motor quit half way up. That was $2,400.00.
