Question for VPC about the LE..
Thanks for the picture VPC. Some questions about the interior- is there two tone leather? Wood trim steering wheel or shiftknob? Basically what I'm trying to get at is- Is there anything besides the wheels and color that will seperate the car from the standard SL? I dont know what I would do if I was surrounded by all of those MB's.

Yes the interior is different than the standard SL. The headliner is a black suede (a la S/CL 600), The steering wheel does have the wood inserts on the steering wheel and the shift knob is leather with a machined metal cap with the italic writing 'designo'. The seats come standard with the Heater/Active Ventilation as well as adjustable bolsters, lumbar, and pulse feature (basically a back massager). I hope this answers you questions for now, and hopefully I can get an interior shot posted quickly.

Thanks for the info. It sounds like the LE's are nicely equipped. My dealer said his computer screen mentioned 2-tone charcoal interior for the LE's now listed in his dealer inventory. Is the 2-tone subtle or obvious?

Actually, you are right that it is a two-tone interior, the lighter tone is the dash and trim, which is a dark charcoal grey. The headliner, is darker, and even though I guess it might still be referred to as 'charcoal', it really is basically black.
