i've been thinking about selling a few of my toys to pick up my buddy SL (not sure with model he has) but after browsing around this forum they seem to have a few expensive issues like convertible top pump going out and the abc shock leaking. those things can be fixed but im more worried on how the car runs after hitting the big 100k mark. anyone on here with over 100k and plan on keeping it 100k more miles?

Ive never owned an SL but I have heard the reliability isnt exactly stellar. But if its an SL500 with the 5.0 liter V8, thats an extremely stout and reliable engine....the rest of the car, I have no clue
