Need help Anyone? Trunk lift assist
Hi whoever can help me will be a life saver. I have a 2004 sl600 and the top works fine with no issues. The problem I am running into is once the top is completely down in the trunk, It wont go up alittle by pushing the red button. I push the red button and nothing happens. I know once pushed its suppost to lift the top alittle to have the ability to put some luggage in.

Has anyone had this issue before on the SL, if so can you point me in the right direction?

Make sure the trunk lid is up 100% before pushing the button.

yes.......open your truck all the way to activate the red button to work!!

it is and I get nothing. I checked the sensors on the lid and they are getting power. But no action when pushing the red button.

have you tried disconnect/reconnect battery?

Make sure the wire connector to the red button is attached.
