Well, the depth of his written English says it all for one whose first language is not English. I must say a big well done to Chris the swede. I have a work colleague who is Swedish as well. He came to the UK quite advanced in age and his spoken English is so good but his Swedish accent is always present. Currently, he is working on his Ph.d. Very ambitious people.

A question please Chris, I am doing some mods in the OCP and I have no problems in taking that down, I need to remove the covers on the insides of the A pillars, do these just pull off back into the car, nothing in WIS on this, all it says is "remove covers"
Thank you
Thank you

Sweet!! Or maybe I should say Sweede!! This is very cool.
Are you planning to lower the car at all? I'm considering lowering arms for my '04 SL 600 but am a bit concerned about re-alignment (if it can be done) and tire wear if it can't be done. I'm only thinking about 1" What is your opinion?
Thank you

Nice Work
Hi Chris .
Ilooked in to your 2 projects. Very nice done. What do you work with when youdon’t work on your cars? Are you a Lotto winner? I’m gone follow this projectand see what idea’s I can steel from you. You have started exactly where I liketo start. AMG backlights first and stereo next. Today I have the same Bosestereo with a CD-charger. After that rims. Today I have 18” AMG rims witch isboring. Looking for something with a little bit more “bling” in them.

So happy I can inspire you guys with my projects. I run a Mercedes Styling and tuning company. And that is ofcourse how I get alot of parts for cheap. I am thinking of sponsoring this forum so I can tell you more about it and help you guys fully without getting banned all the time. It is a bit expensive though.

The new European style trunk in place without that horrible GPS antenna in the middle of it and the facelift clear third brakelight in place. DAMN what hard work is is to replace that lid. Alot of electronics for a trunklid.
New facelift AMG logo in place.
New carbon wing in place..

What a pain to get the headlightcleaners to fit and work corectly on the new bumper. Totaly wrong angle on the old one here.
Before and after. Had to buy new ones as well. Totaly different to the old ones as you can see.
Had to take off the hole crashbar and modify it since a new one cost so much! ($1100) So I chose to modify the old one instead.
This I had to remove to get the new one fitted corectly.
Here is the new one testfitted in place. Totaly different and such a pain. Had to do it since it is the law to have them with Xenons here.

Cheap thing to do but makes a huge different at night..
Big difference on the old weared one and the brand new one with LED.
Not in the dark but anyway a pic of it.
-----------------------
Time to install the faclift look carbon covers...
Very simple to do. Just "click" of the glass and unscrew these 3 screws and slide of the old cover.
Then just apply the new cover and fasten the 3 screws into it. Done.
....Before and after.
