2003 Mercedes SL500
2003 SL500 Headlight washer pump
Headlight washers have suddenly started to operate on "their" own emptying the washer tank dry...does not shut off continues to operate 10 minutes after the car is started. Repair shop can not find cause and suggests disconnecting the pump...any suggestions?

2004 SL500
I had the same problem on my 96 SL. It was the pump motor. I ended up pulling the fuse and not fixing it.

Its always something with these cars. I'm curious how many people actually use that feature.

anyone know what fuse this is? Sorry to bring up an old thread. Just got a 2003 sl500 and the headlight pump just started going all on its on. Had to unhook the rear battery to get it to turn off.
