SL/R230: Disconnect Horn on SL500

Disconnect Horn on SL500
As I am suffering from my horn going off every time i turn the wheel, i think it has something to do with the airbag, can anyone advise how i can disconnect the horn, bearing in mind i am not mechanically minded, but i know someone that is

2007 E550 4-Matic, 2004 SL600
I had my mechanic do mine, he said something about resetting it afterwards due to removing the airbag. Part was about $180 and an hour of his time to replace it.
