2004 SL600 differential bearings help needed
I am swapping the diff on SL600 and need replacement bearing. MB does not sell them separately and want me to order complete diff. I ordered bearings for SL55 as someone told me those are the same, but they are not - SL55 bearings are much smaller.
Help is greatly appreciated.
Igor.

After doing some more digging, I found the bearings - these are regular Timken bearings NP120839 and NP335170, just an FYI ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Now I have a set of OEM SL55 diff bearings to sell...

BTW, I successfully installed Quaife LSD in my SL600.
What a difference ! For those with SL600s in Toronto, you are welcome to drop by the shop for a demo ride![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Thanks for taking the time to update with part numbers and results. I appreciate when someone takes the time to do these things. That seems to be very lacking in this forum. I'm starting to hang out in the AMG forum more because there is more of a sense of community. I came from BMW and there was such a helpful attitude amongst members. Here, it seems the most common response is, "take it to the dealer." My car is going to my indy today for the first time since I've owned it. Only for an alignment after I replaced front lower ball joints and control arm bushings as well as made my own lowering links out of RC car parts. I will be sure to post a thread about it, though I doubt it will be appreciated......
