1. With a factory compatible scan tool monitor the hydraulic suspension pressure. System pressure should read around 180 to 200 bar.

2. If pressure is within specification the fault is not current at this time. Check for correct fluid level and let car sit overnight to verify suspension does not leak down and cause car to drop to the ground.

3. If pressure is not correct, first verify correct fluid levels. Inspect system for leaks. Test and inspect wiring at system pressure sensor for damage. Replace sensor with known good component.

4. If pressures are still not correct, suspect faulty suspension pump or other hydraulic fault.

5. Replacement of any hydraulic component requires bleed function "Rodeo" with factory scan tool to remove all air from system. Replacement of strut requires calibration of strut with factory scan tool.

The 'Model 230 STAR Service Manual Library' DVD available from MB has an External Applications tab that brings up an Electrical Troubleshooting Manual with complete electrical diagrams.
