SL/R230: Stuck in park question - are all years effected?

Stuck in park question - are all years effected?
Hello all, I picked up a beautiful 2005 SL55 yesterday. I've been doing extensive research here on the form of the R230 Sl's for several months now.
I am well familiar with the "stuck in park" with the R230. What I have not been able to determine from searching the forum is what years are effected? Did Mercedes rectify the cheap plastic lockout at some point during the R230 run?
In searching most of the cars effected by stuck in park seem to be 2003 or, they don't mention the year of their SL.
My car is fine right now but if this is a potential issue I want to change out the lockout arm ASAP.
