2003 mercedes 500 sl
electrical problems on sl
any experts out there I have 2003 sl 230 have fault code p0500 vehicle speed sensor a ,when read by code reader/anyone know what this is..also saying brake problem abs fault disks look low but disc warning light not coming on keeps going into limp home mode, are problems connected anyone any ideas

Welcome to the club ( I mean the club with all the MB problems) your limp home mode problem is transmission related and you have serious problems when you have that one. Not to delay you but see my thread dealing with my problems with the transmission - transmission problems R230-and then you might be interested in my other thread re the interference one of My witnesses experienced in the case I brought against MB. You must remember you are dealing with a ' shower of crooks' as my Senior Counsel ' called them in open Court in my case. Remember MB have known of the transmission problems since 1996 and have been concealing it since the . My engineere says one I every 3 MB with 772 transmission gives a problem. So you be careful
