I am in need of some technical assistance.
I am not getting a warning on the dash for this. Left rear turn signal lamp flickers or shuts off / intermittently works sometimes. Please see video of left compared to right side.
I removed the bulb and socket assembly - swapped bulb and socket from left to right problem still on left side. Remove contact ring inside tail light (ring that clips into tail light housing and has positive and negative contacts) Check contacts no burns or plastic melting - tighten up connections still have the problem. Remove trunk lining and follow wiring back to main wiring harness through out trunk, no broken wires, no pinched wires or crimped wires. Check all grounds relating to power wiring doing to tail light all clean.
The third brake light went out around the same time as this problem, third brake lamp flickers, but I do get a warning on dash for third brake light not the turn signal.
So, as far as I can see all wiring checks out okay. I am wondering if the third brake light has confused the REAR SAM and is not supplying the left side turn signal with enough power to illuminate.

Update for anyone that has been following this forum. The rear Sam is defective. I have checked with my STAR machine followed test procedures and everything points to faulty rear Sam.
