Saw my first R230 in the flesh!
Out of the blue...parked on the street...7th avenue/15th street
1am...there it is...an LE edition...Jersey temp license.
WoW is all I have to say...looked smaller...very compact...powerful...maybe it was the Champagne I had been drinking...but it looked like it had just dropped in from another planet...great to have my first view totally unplanned and in a normal context great impact...pedestrians and cars were all slowing for a closer look...great fun!!
By the way...I contacted some people in Germany regarding the rumoured recall of the 55...they said their AMG contacts are all in Geneva...should have an update soon.

Same here, i saw my first one in Hong Kong today! Brilliant silver standard package with the navy blue leather. The leather didnt look too nice, but the car looks great, the rear looks pretty impressive and the front lights are almost flat against the hood, absolutely awsome. I think it was a display because it was a LHD and i have yet to see one RHD on the road yet. I can't wait till mine arrives.
