SL/R230: SL600 brake configuration on an SL500

SL600 brake configuration on an SL500
I like the ventilated brakes with calipers that are on the SL600 (front and rear). On the 04' SL500, we get the front ventilated brakes and calipers; does anyone know how much it would cost or how easy it would be to switch out the brakes on the SL500 for the same configuration as the SL600?

AMG brakes vs. 600 brakes
I believe you'd need to have 18" wheels to put either 600 or AMG brakes on the 500.
On a side, what is the difference between the AMG and 600 brakes? The MB literature describes the brakes exactly the same save for the paint on the caliper (red-AMG; silver-600). Visually, they look same too. RennTech suggests that they are exactly the same too.
Any educated thoughts?
