SL/R230: Wiring/Snaking battery tender to power cord for SL65
I recently bought a CTEK 3300 battery tenderer for my SL65 per the forums recommendation on search and plan on connecting it to my trunk battery.
Sadly, the beast is sitting outside in the driveway this winter

I wanted to see what's the best way to route the cord to outside the car to connect to power? I'd like to avoid ruining the weather stripping on the trunk due to a pinched cord if possible.
Any suggestions? Pics would be very helpful!
Thanks in Advanced!

I have a 2011 SL65........I also use a CTEK (a 7000). I used an existing vent orifice with a rubber grommet adjacent to the battery to run the wires. This did require a splice of the CTEK wires in order to hard wire the charger directly to the battery cables. Simple solution.....

This is a very complicated system. I'm not sure what the MB engineers wanted to accomplish by this elaborate electrical scheme. Certainly adds to the potential/probable future service department business as these works of art age. I don't know if they could have made it more elaborate.
