E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
I'd have to agree...
that the Davin's sure wouldn't be my first choice either.
But you gotta look after your customers...and if they're paying your rent....
BTW, I have had two customers with Davin's that were defective. Both wouldn't hold air. I think they had a right to be hacked.
Really nice SL. Just don't put on any of those new Davin's with the wood on them....(smiles)...

IPOD Question:
By hardwired... I am referring to the Aux jack that is in the glove box. I've run a 3 foot monster cable from inside the glovebox to an opening above the cupholders (which is where I set the IPOD, so I can view the screen when driving). Many people try to use the FM Modulators, etc. to avoid running wires, but nothing compares to going straight into the comand. Plus, you can set a separate audio volume for the Aux in, so when you switch back to CD or the radio the volume is the same.
The only down side so far is that you can only access the aux input by going through the SYS button on the comand, plus turning a few knobs and selecting AUX on screen. It is kind of a pain in the *** and you can't access the aux input via the voice recognition / command system either.

Concerning the spacer at the rear, I say NO. this kind of thing is really bad for cars, really.
Concerning the ipod, with don't you ask to Brabus to integrate it to your car. The multimedia department can do what you want.
