Easy entry seat and steering wheel
Anyone have problems setting the easy entry mode for the seat and steering wheel?
I pick the option on the dashboard and only the steering wheel goes up and down and the seat remains stationary.

This is why
The seat will only go back if it is fairly close to the steering wheel.
Try doing some testing moving the seat forward 1/8 inch at a time and take the key out each time, you'll find out where the thresold is.

2003 sl500
seat & steering wheel adjustment
i have had my '03 sl500 in 3 times to get seat to move back when engine is shut off.they cannot get it to work properly. keyless go works differently than key but neither is satisfactory. i've given up.

Easy exit workaround
Program one of the 3 memory buttons as your exit button would be the best workaround solution!
