Carchex
Hi,
I have got my 2007 50K SL550 and although it is in excellent condition I am sure sooner or later I will need one of those expensive MB repairs.
I have received an estimate from Carchex for a titanium package (36 months/30,000 miles, $100 deductible) for a $3,724 premium.
A couple of questions:
- is Carchex reputable? Any good/bad experience by the MB fellows?
- is the quote reasonable?
-is it worthy?
Thanks

Has anybody ever used Carchex, or any other reputable provider for your MB? Thanks

Sometimes people just don't have the answer and just don't clog up the thread with comments like "sorry but I don't know".
That said, my personal opinion is that the aftermarket warranties are better for the company selling them than the person buying them. Sure you can run into expensive repairs but many of them just don't get covered by aftermarket warranties. I bet if you checked closely, the ABC (Most common expensive fix) is probably not even covered. I've seen very few cases where these things work for the consumer.
Anyway, good luck to you whatever you decide.
