Up for sale is a pair of R230 SL55 headlights, as some of you already knew, this is a project that I started couple month ago, and it's finally done beautifully. conditions are very good, close to perfect, no cracks or broken tabs, super tiny rock chips on the ouside of the lens, you can easily buff it alway with a 3000 grid sand, but I don't have a buffer so I can't do it.

what will be included:
2 x brand new 6000k D2S bulbs for low beam(1 year warranty)
2 x OEM ballast
2 x Kendroin projectors for low beam
2 x brand new 6000K H1 Xenon HID kit for high beam ( including all harness already installed and 2 slim ballast, plug and play, also 1 year warranty)
2 x Mini projectors and shrouds
2 x LED DRL inside the high beam projectors

and all the hardware on the OEM headlights, everything is tested and guarantee to work and guarantee no error message.

There are plenty available if you search car-part.com for "2004", "Mercedes SL Class", "Headlight assembly". Enter your Zipcode and it will show you sources and the distance to them. For example, several are available within 50 miles of me in Michigan.

BTW: car-part.com is the way to search for used parts at the junk-yards/dismantlers in the country. Many will ship to you, some will not.

 

thank you. my question was if anyone else is selling the blacked housing headlights for the 2006 SL55. not the regular one. i have them already. or if anyone else modifies them for cat eyes and black housing.

 

Sorry I didn't notice that these were blackened housings. I have no idea how much disassembly it would take to get down to just the housing which you could then take to a local body shop for painting.
