Also, you're in Florida which is a tad warmer at this time of year than Cornwall
I think 100C is normal in high ambient. Remember the coolant is under pressure and has additives, both of which will raise its boiling point, so providing the hoses are as they should be, she's not going to blow.

So whats this about a trickle charger? Is it needed for 8 weeks away and how do I go about that?

They plug into a wall socket and the power recepticle in the boot/trunk. Dealers should have them or else you can buy at CPC (www.cpc.co.uk) part no CP01251, £13.13 + VAT

But can't get that part number up. Its a memory saver for if the battery goes flat, not a trickle charger. Is that what you'd recommend?
