Command Manual
Does the Command manual normally come with the car? I got my new SL500 Christmas eve and when reading the regular car manual found a number of pointers to the command manual. However, no such manual was with the car. I asked the dealer and they noted that there wasn't such a manual with another SL500 they were about to deliver either so they were going to check what the deal was. Things in Portland have been ugly the last week (car trapped in garage thankfully given the ice on everything outdoors) so they haven't gotten to an answer yet. Seemed odd that neither car had one though so does anyone know what the deal is? It might be nice to actually have instructions for the audio and Nav systems other than what I pick up reading this group. (Like how to mute the Nav voice.)

I received 2 Comand manuals with my 04 SL500 picked up in October. They were the COMAND Operator's Manual (E Parts-No. 230 584 38 82 US Edition E 07/03) and a Quick Tips @ The COMAND System trademark of Calcar MC-03-250).
Your dealer should be able to get them for you as part of the purchase.

command manuals
Pdx, I got my car on Dec 21 (purchased from Atlanta), and mine sat in the garage as well till last week.. I believe I got three different manuals -- though I have not gone through them much as I have been waiting for my nav CDs.. How many manuals did you get? Did you get your car through the portland or wilsonville dealership...

command manual
I got my 04 SL500 on 12/23/03. It was missing the command manual(as well as the CDs) even though I had ordered them and invoice included them . The found them after I asked for them.
