Left Door mirror glass
Hi all:
I am looking for Left Door mirror glass to a LHD SL500 2002.
My MB dealer want to have 280Euro for this glass and anoyher 100 to change it.
Does anyone know wher to find a non OEM or used glass?
I have checked Ebay, but not sure if the glass that popup there are the correct onec.
Is this the correct OEM number 230 810 07 21
And a last question.
Does anyone have any handouts how to change the glass?

The part number you posted appears to be wrong for the mirror. See attached parts diagram. The part number I found using a generic R230 vin# is 230 810 05 21 but that is for a none folding mirror USA version. A quick parts price search found one vendor pricing at $275 for new Genuine Mercedes Mirror so €280 is probably correct.
Anyway, if you post your vin no. we can look up the exact part for your R230 version and I can also post the WIS instructions for the R&I. On something like this, I wouldn't hesitate to use a good used part for the replacement. Pricing seems a bit steep to me for a new mirror.
Have you used the search function on this forum to see if anyone has done a replacement writeup?? Also search in the Benzworld forum for help.
