I have the following error codes, which are classed as "unknown" by my diagnostics tool (iCarSoft i980) - can anyone shed any light on these please?

System affected followed by error code as flagged....: -
- ABC - P152500
- ABC - P152600
- TPC - P135100
- TPC - P135200
- TPC - P135300
- TPC - P135500
- PSE - P143600
- PSE - P143800
- Rear SAM - P122200
- Rear SAM - B1222-016

I am trying to build a list of issues as discovered, as well as possible "fixes", so if anyone can help, I would be extremely grateful, and will be only to happy to share what I find.

Quick sugestion - a little history of the car would help
2nd - have you looked up the forum?
3rd - 600 series are pretty rare, so if it's engine related might be harder to find answers
But the folks here will help for sure

I do minimal mileage on the car, so despite being 12 years old, it still only has 90,000 km's on the odometer (56,000 miles).

(I have a Land Rover Defender 90 V8 for daily use - better for the potholes and crazy taxis I assure you!)

With regards maintenance, I ensure that any issues are resolved, but try (wherever possible) to avoid the "stealers" and use skilled (and accredited) independent technicians.

As I am based in South Africa, this is a right-hand drive vehicle.

Knowing what the codes link to would def help in keeping the possible "lies" at bay.... :-)

I have searched the forum high and low, as well as other online sources - it seems that these codes are not listed anywhere - I could be missing something though :-)

ABC codes as listed seem to be connected to the following codes: -
1) C1525-001 - Critical vehicle level front left
2) C1525-004 - Critical vehicle level rear left
3) C1526-016 - Malfunction in pressure supply
These seem to have been resolved when I topped up the ABC fluid reservoir, but I believe there may still be an issue with worn o-rings, and possible dirt still in the system.

TPC codes all relate to low tyre pressure, which is easily resolved, yet I still do not know what the mystery codes pointed to....

PSE codes as listed seem to be connected to the following codes: -
1) B1438 - Over the safety time: multi-outline backrest
2) B1436 - Over the safety time of central lock device: front left door
3) B1438 - Continuous disconnection of the multi-outline: safety time exceeded 5 times
My guess here is that all refer to a circuit related issue.

REAR SAM codes as listed seem to be connected to the following codes: -
1) B1627-000 - Component trunk lamp defective (left)
2) B1627-001 - Component trunk lamp defective (right)
I replaced both, and the codes have disappeared, but I would still like to know what they are ;-)

Must just say that this is an AWESOME forum - I have been a "spectator" for a while, but will def contribute wherever I can moving forward :-)

Here is a more detailed view of the linked error codes by system: -

 

You may want to spend $100 with your trusted independent to read these codes via a SDS.
This will pinpoint the issues, describe the fixes, and allow you to clear the codes. The Star/Xentry is indispensable for a MB, and will pay for itself many times over should you purchase a clone.

If the ABC system was low on fluid you may have slow leaks, or a bad dampener/accumulator. The first dampener to go is the first one downstream from the pump. At your cars age, not miles, I would replace it. And if the ABC fluid has not been changed, or is not bright green, it needs to be flushed and replaced.

I plan to schedule a full diagnostics for later this week when my techie gets back from his Festive Season break - def the best idea in order to cross-ref what I have found with a professional diagnostics tool.

I managed to find a detailed list of remedial actions for the ABC, so will simply work through them one by one to get to the bottom of things. Your points are at the top of the list :-)

On my '05 AMG I get the same code but I suspect it's a pseudo ABC code. The one it corresponds to is C 1525-1. The C 1525-1 is for the front left "critical car level" even when the front is ok but the rear sags! The problem with ABC's is they r tied together. Both the Front and Rear valve body r connected--NOT independent as I've heard around. If the rear leaks oil then the front can sag and y we get C 1525-1 codes.
But if a strut goes then the codes would b at EACH corresponding strut (notice the sensor on top!). There r no sensors on valve blocks.

 

Maybe MB World might help me here but my '05 AMG rear still sags. Replaced leaking LR strut (RR and both fronts r ok). Rebuilt both valve blocks. ABC pump pushes out 190 bar. NO lights on dash, NO trouble codes from STAR system. Did a "rodeo". Original code a month ago was C 1525-1 which was "LF critical car level" even though the back dropped!
The trouble is the hydraulic system runs on pressure-- not a computer module. No computer is going to make my car drop. The 2 accumulators only top off the struts which aren't leaking, so they r out of the picture as well... Although in a weird twist a month ago on my other '06 AMG (with basically the same problem) I erased an old ABC code C1525-064 "system pressure too low" (it's not) and the back IMMEDIATELY shot up 3 inches!! WTF????
