Seat Massage Function....
How long does one cycle take filling the lumbar section then reducing the lumbar section of the seat? The manual says the system turns off after 8 minutes. The lights on both seat switches come on but I cannot feel anything on my lower back. 2008 SL550

If I had to guess, my 2003 takes about 10 seconds per bladder to fill and dump.
I only feel 2 bladders operating on my seat.
OTOH, my 2011 E350 has about 5 bladders that fill and deflate. Is 2 massage bladders right for a 2003 SL55?
If you don't feel the bladders, I suspect the pump is not working, which could be fuses, cut electrical or pressure lines, switches, or simply a dislodged connector. I don't hear of the bladders failing often.

Thanks for the reply. Took a longer ride today and tilted the seat back a bit and energized the massage button and it worked just fine. I had assumed a vibration, not a gentle push at the lower back. Really a neat accessory! ��
