Crazy problems!

I took a 1200 mi round trip in my 05 SL 600 with 23,000 mi.
About 3 hrs into the first leg I decided to switch from the radio to the CD's
The command center showed the page that shows the cd's but next to the letters cd was a black
square.
The cd's would not play!
The nav would not work!
The map would not work!
Then the radio stopped working.
The only trouble I've ever had and still have is sometimes when I turn off the traction control the yellow triangle doesn't show up!
After I arrived at my destination and the SL sat overnight everything on the command center was operating.
Later, after taking a 40 min ride
and I shut it down, when I restarted the SL it was showing
a check engine light and running
rough.
Took it to Advance auto parts and had them check it and it showed a misfire on #7 & #8

When I cranked it up to leave Advance it was running fine but the check engine light was still showing.

Later the check engine light went out .When I restarted the SL later, the command center lit up a bright gold color totally blank then went back to normal?

On the 600 mi return trip there were no issues.

Has anyone experienced any of these issues🙀

Check your grounds. BAttery and chassis grounds. In my experience when squirrely things happen for no apparent reason it's ends up that a ground has gone bad.

Mercedes owners refer to these issues as "personality". I haven't had any check engine lights but the command system likes to its own thing occasionally.
