SL55 with Kleeman throwing code P0123
Just bought a SL55 with a Kleeman pully, headers and cats and apparently an ecu. I don't know much about these cars but I've always loved the look of them..It has 70,000 and the previous owner had just replaced the brakes, tires and rear struts or something... Long story short I went to press down on the gas all the way to the floor and the car all of a sudden lost all power, I checked the code and it was P0123 so I immediately went to the dealership to order a new pedal and what not, wich should fix this problem, do i just replace it and its good to go or do i need to have it flashed or calibrated ?... Is there any other stuff anyone would recommend in order to have this car running reliable...My other question is what does the car do or whats the purpose of that button under the gas pedal that clicks when the pedal is pushed all the way down and I've tried to read a little on here , what does WOT stand for ?

Welcome to the R230 club. You should spend some time searching and reading posts here to get a feel for the reliability areas, and address them proactively. Your enjoyment will increase tremendously.
Search for buyers guides, FAQ's, and problem areas for this car. There are a few that need to be addressed on a 70K car. Fix them before they break.
The gas pedal is a straight swap...no coding required. The button is to give feedback to the driver that you are hitting the afterburner, and it is time to pay attention. It is not hooked up to anything. WOT means Wide Open Throttle.
I don't think any of the mods will hurt your car. The drivetrain is very robust, and proper maintenance and fluid changes will keep it happy.
