Lightbulb Problem with Brakes!
Hello,

Can you provide some insight on my brakes (2003 R230)?

I changed all my brake rotors (due to rust) and brakes pads (worn out) last year with OEM parts but:

1. I have a high squeaking noise when I brake lightly (especially when the weather is cold),

2. I have so much brake dust to the point I have to wash my rims every 3 days

3. I reckon the brake system in general is not good/ sensitive enough (brake fluid change?).

Any suggestions on these issues? I also read on other threads that Akebono brakes are a good direct aftermarket replacement for our OEM brake pads that would fix the brake dust issue. Can I put Akebono brake pads on OEM brake rotors?

Agreed. Akebono are best low dust, low noise pads around. No performance hit either.
