SL/R230: Top won't move after solenoid change

Top won't move after solenoid change
Hello, I need help desperately.
I changed out my roof front lock solenoid, and each frame lock solenoids.
Since to fix this, the top needs to move forward and backwards, I left the car battery connected.
I first noticed the "visit workshop" error when I accidentally bumped the top switch while the pump was disconnected.
I unplugged both batteries for a few minutes hoping this would somehow reset itself...
My trunk is gutted still from replacing the solenoids. Is there anything that must be plugged in for this to work correctly?
Also, at the same time, it says ESP unavailable. I'm hoping I just blew a fuse...? It originally also said "electronics battery unavailable" but that went away....
Help!
Thank you...

Update-
Top opens and closes now as it should. But it won't finish its cycle to close the roof. The front lock solenoid only partially locks. If I manually lock the front lock solenoid, it finishes. Where is the switch that triggers this "finish?"

Thank you for that! Unfortunately, I now have a new problem.
The trunk (frame lock solenoids) will not close the trunk. If I push down on it, it will close.
Do I need a new pump, or a new trunk(the one that makes the trunk open and close) solenoid?

In your case you may have air in the that simply needs to work its way through the system. If not, then I would suspect one or both hydraulic cylinders for the trunk lid assembly. I presume the other top motions are normal, and this would indicate that your pump is fine.

I hope you're right. Since the problem alternated cylinders, I think it could be air too. Just casual use restores function? Yesterday I was repeatedly opening and closing the top for a few minutes hoping it would bleed out. No luck
