SLR Headlights in an R230?

Would they fit? The look identical... just the SLR looks way cooler..although very expensive......

NO LONGER ACTIVE

I'm fairly certain they won't fit. The SLR front end is much flatter, plus the mounting tabs look different.

The Ebay website listing the replacement headlights has an embedded compatibility chart. FWIW, the chart states that the SLR lights are not compatible on R230s.

Mounting tabs are different but that could be overcome. Is it dimensionally the same? I would not go that route but to each their own.

I really just want to know if it's a possibility as I was looking at them and they look very very similar in shape and would make sense for MB to use the same lense molds
