Roll Bar warning lights remain on.

2009 SL600
After making an accelerated U Turn to make the traffic light, my roll bar red warning light came on as did the roll bar icon light. If I raise the roll bar the red light warning goes out but the icon remains lit. If I lower the roll bar the red light warnings come back on to raise the roll bar.

I tried turning the car off for a few minutes but the problem persist when I turn it back on. Same if I lower the roof then back up.

Is there a reset on the roll bar warning lights and Icon?

I can get rid of the red warning information temporarily with the speed odometer reset but it return after restarting the car.

It's a fault in the rollbar system. You're going to need to get it diagnosed with SDS.

Just a wild *** guess at a follow up question: do your windshield wipers work properly? The reason I ask ... I had a similar problem with the rollbar alert when my EIS failed. In any event, I agree with Rudeney about needing SDS analysis. Good luck. Let us know how you get this sorted.

The Beast's on board computer reset its self this morning, no warning lights, everything back to normal, no roll bar issues or warnings.

Thanks to those with their inputs.

Heatwave may have the answer - EIS trouble, or even voltage problems.

The tilt cone is internal in the roof control (RVC). Not a very common problem, but you probably need to replace the module.
