It's on the left of the trunk:

BTW, were they activating based on the serial number of the tuner or VIN? I've never been able to get a successful activation on a MBZ using the VIN. I always had to give them the serial number.

Thank you Rudeney!
They originally activated it via the serial number on the tuner,
but once I turned the car off after 20 mins, it never worked
again. I have tried to have them send refresh signals, and
waited a few months and tried to activate again, but does not
work. HU shows the page with serial number and 800 number
to activate.

How would I get the demo channels? The screen only
shows the serial and 800 number for activation? This
might help determine if the antenna is bad.
Thank you for your help thus far!

Rudeney,
One more question, and I hope this helps the rest of the forum
as well, since I cant find it while searching....
How do I remove the carpet liner on the driver side where the module
and DVD drive are? Doesn't seem as straight forward like other MB's.

Here you are:

Note that for MY2007 and later, the trunk partition zips out and it has latches to remove it - instructions should be in the owner's manual.

bison25,
I can only advise on what I found in my 05 SL55, I am not sure if there
was a change in 06. After I opened up all the paneling, I found my unit
had only 1 antenna plug. That being said, the wiring for the car had two
antenna plugs. Since I had already bought a replacement module before
opening the car, the one I bought had two plugs (1 white & 1 blue).
To test, I just plugged the blue wire to the blue antenna, and white to
white. I was then able to get the radio to recognize the new radio ID.
Then I called up Sirius/XM who activated the radio and seems to work
fine. I had to tell them I had an 08 SLK280 as this is where the module
came from.
Side Note: Once the radio is activated, you will notice it freezes up or
says downloading, updating, etc for the first day or two... perfectly
normal. After a couple days everything is working fine, I think it was the
module downloading new channel lists/etc.

Thanks Rajah996 - Looking at the PDF supplied by Rudeney above after June 1st, 2005 they changed from dual lines to single lines.......so I assume mine being a 2006 has only 1 input - think I'll try it.

You can always buy a dual antenna module with the "Y"
adapter cable to turn it into one. I saw a few on ebay.
If I were you, I would probably go this way, since it covers
both possibilities. See link below:

SDAR module in my W218 CLS.
I own a 2012 CLS63 and earlier today the Siriusxm stopped working and I called siriusxm and they told me to contact my dealer and my dealer said that it is the SADR or whatever module that is acting up so I am looking to buy a new one but my question is where is it located as well as where is the best place for me to find one?

You're in the wrong forum - a MY2012 CLS is a "W219" - look here: https://mbworld.org/forums/cls-coupe-c218-157/
But I can tell you it is almost certainly in the trunk, behind the carpeted paneling. It's going to be a dealer-only part, but once you find the part number, you might try searching eBay to see if anyone is selling a used one pulled from a crash vehicle.
