SL/R230: SL-550 top stuck half open. Help!

Welcome to the forum. I have not had this problem myself but most likely a microswitch somewhere did not active/deactivate. See the attached files. Please be careful to not get your hands where they don't belong when troubleshooting. The top may make unexpected moves up or down.

Are you saying that you think the trunk latch did not close and that's why the roof is stuck? I guess that's possible, if the latch let go while the roof was in mid cycle. I'd go ahead and do the manual close and then check the latch.
