Hello friends.
I have a problem in my SL 2007 year with the button of the trunk.
Months ago the problem was that the trunk was not able to close fine but now the problem is that is not able to open the trunk with the trunk´s button. I only can open the trunk using the small key that is inside in the car´s key.
I attached pictures:

Someboy has the same problem?
I need some tipo for going ahead..
Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Usually a latch failure, but you need to have it properly diagnosed. Can be an issue with the button, latch, or PSE pump not releasing the latch. The function tests in SDS will help narrow it down without throwing parts at it.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Based on the fact that you had closing issues, and now opening issues, I suspect it's a pneumatic leak in the latch mechanism. There's a sticky thread at the top of the forum with lots of help in diagnosing and fixing that problem.

Have a look at the video below that shows how the manual handle for opening of the trunk lid works,
