SL/R230: Starter battery on 2004 SL 500

Starter battery on 2004 SL 500
Heya Folks
I have an SL500 that I have to pick up from about an hours drive away in the country and it has a flat battery.
I want to be prepared so want to take a new battery down with me.
I do not wish to part with $700 ozzy dollars for a MB Battery and don't want to wait 5-10 days for it to come in to stock either.
Can somebody list the dimensions of the stock battery for starter so I can match it and know its going to fit.
I note it is a smaller battery and its tight in there so want to get it right.

Not sure if you're talking about the starter or consumer battery but I recently bought the consumer battery from the MB dealer in Adelaide and it cost me $400, at the time Battery World said they could do an equivelent for $300 however the store didn't have any in stock.
I needed it urgently so ended up getting the genuine one from the dealer.
If it's the starter you need, maybe a jump start will get it going so that you can charge it on the drive home. This will also charge the consumer battery if it's still serviceable.
Edit: Oops just noticed that you had written starter battery in your heading. I would try charging the existing one first before shelling out for a new one.
