600 finally here!

My 05 SL600 showed up (finally) yesterday. I bought it from a dealer in Oklahoma last week, it felt like it took forever 😀 I have to say that it is nothing short of awesome to drive. Even though it’s only been in the 40’s here I still put the top down and took it for a few rides. I love it!

One quick question, I’m not sure if it has the owners manuals. I have looked through the car, but damn there are nooks everywhere. Would they typically be in the glovebox?

Thanks everyone.

55,000 miles, from what I can tell the only added option is the distronic cruise control. I really haven’t had time to enjoy it. I’ll have more time (and sunshine) on Friday. It sure puts a smile on my face

Very nice! I got mine a month ago and i can't stop driving it, esp with the top down. first thing first, put the car on a lift and inspect all the ABC hoses, anything that's damp, weeping, or leaking needs to be tended to.

You plan on modding it?

is that color code 755, Tenorite Gray? If so, that's the same color as my car. You don't see too many of those. Most are black, white or silver.

I put it on a buddies lift yesterday, no leaks that I could see. I’m not planning on doing any mods to the car. I’m more of a “stock” kind of a guy. I wasn’t sure about the color when I saw it in the pictures online, but really liked it when it got here!

i think it’s Aggean blue Rodney. The title isn’t here yet, so can you tell me if there is somewhere on the car I can find the color code.

Look on the B pillar by the door strike. It's on the build lablel, prefixed by a "C", just before the build date.

2011 Mauritius Blue SL550
Looks great! I like that color. I personally prefer any color that is not the usual 95% black, silver or white, but that's just me. Benton, as in Benton, Arkansas?

You had to wait a week? Don't feel bad. I am currently having to wait 5+ weeks to ship my new 2011 SL550 from Memphis to Sweden!!

AH, yes, that's a much more blue color. And a nice departure from the usual black, white and silver. I think MBZ has more blue colors than anything else. Both my SL and ML are 755 Tenorite Gray (a.k.a. Steel Gray) and they looks very blue out in the sun - a bluish-gray. My CLK was 357 Iolite Blue (a.k.a. Cadet Blue) and it was more of a grayish-blue. Ironically, I've had more blue cars in my life than any other color. Mostly the blue-gray variety. It's not like it's may favorite color, it just works out that way.
