Trans seal/o,ring

hey all
i did my engine mounts and drive shaft donuts over the weekend and noticed that the selecter shaft on the trans is leaking badly
It is the llittle arm that comes off the rod connected to the stick shift in the cabin on the LH side of trans
can someone help out with the part number for the seal in the trans case please
peter

Part number is A0099974847. It looks like it can be replaced from the outside.

Looks like I will be pulling the tail shaft and exhaust again as per a previous post by you Rodney and there was reference to a CLK550 which would be same I would think.

If you are having a hard time accessing the selector shaft seal, you may be able to remove the rear mount and gently lower the transmission enough to work on it. Keep in mind the CLK550 used a 722.9 transmission and my thread on that was working on the fluid pump, not the selector shaft.
