How to access the park sensors on the front bumper early Mercedes SL, R230
Any of my fellow members here at the forum knows how to take of the front bumper strips/trim to acess the park senors?
There is nothing wrong with any of the sensors except that one sensor that have been replaced need to be painted so i just know how to take off the strips/trim

What's the build date of your car? If it's before 2006, then the bumper strips snap off (start at the outside corner). After 2006, they are actually just a molded parts of the bumper made to look like strips, so you have to remove the front bumper too access the sensors.

That front end belongs to a 2003-2006 R230, to make life easier you'll need to push in the tab from behind and push it out, it's actually difficult to do this without something breaking, the sensor is small, just tape around it and rattle can it real quick.

If it’s a black car, use a permanent marker. Not permanent, but pretty quick!

Yes my car is a pre 2006 cars so do i start from the center of the bumper since i think i saw some place that the side of the bumper stripe is sits with a "hook"/behid the fender with a tab on the side of the bumper strip closest to the front wheels?
I am not sure this was for a SL, R230 it might have been a E class W211

I got the PDF file from Mercedes and there seems to be 2 different types of tools used to take off the plastic strips where the park sensors is mounted on the front bumper
The first 2 pictures shows how to take off the strip using a mounting wedge and also a ture of the mounting wedge
Here are a different tool used to remove the strips
Looks like the tool above is used to take off the park sensors off of the strips
