Keyless Go Shifter Button Replacement
Has anyone replaced the button on the shifter for the Keyless Go? If so, where did you find one and how hard is it to replace? Mine is a 2006 SL500 and works fine but the graphics are really worn on it. It is a minor thing and may not be worth the effort to do.

You'd do well to heed FxFormat's advice. It's very likely you'lll break the retaining clip that secures the button in the shifter upon removal, then you'll end up with a Start button that doesn't secure itself properly and will be basically just sitting in there and popping out when you hit a sufficient sized bump. A lesson I learned the hard way and I too ended up replacing the entire shifter. I got lucky that my local ex Girlfriend was able to secure me a replacement in Germany and shipped it to me, but it was still a $250 mistake.While it's true that the button can be easily popped out with a micro screwdriver, it becomes apparent that one would have to simply get lucky to pry the button out without seeing the plastic retaining clip(s) snap.
